Youth & Young Adults Ministry

The Youth and Young Adults Ministry at House of Wisdom – CHRIDA exists to empower, guide, and spiritually nurture young people as they grow in their faith and enter adulthood. Our purpose is to help every young believer build a strong relationship with Jesus Christ, stay grounded in biblical truth, and learn to discern God’s will in all they do.
In a world filled with distractions, we provide a spiritual home where young adults can grow confidently, ask questions, discover their identity in Christ, and walk in purpose. We believe that youth are central to God’s ministry, and we intentionally invest in them as commanded in 1 Timothy 4:12.
Our Purpose
• Connect young people to Jesus Christ through discipleship, mentorship, and spiritual formation.
• Encourage youth to live boldly for God—in school, at home, at work, and in their communities.
• Support them in creating lifelong spiritual habits that strengthen their faith and character.
• Help them understand their God-given identity, purpose, and calling.
• Develop tomorrow’s ministry leaders through teaching, service, and leadership opportunities.
What We Do
1. Spiritual Formation & Discipleship
We walk with youth as they grow in their relationship with God through prayer, Bible study, mentorship, and worship experiences.
2. Evangelistic Outreach
Our ministry encourages youth to reach other young people through evangelism, service, and sharing the Gospel in their schools, friend circles, and communities.
3. Purpose Discovery & Gift Development
Every young person is gifted by God. We help them discover their identity in Christ and use their spiritual gifts to serve the Kingdom.
4. Leadership Development
We prepare youth to become future leaders within the church and society by involving them in services, events, and ministry responsibilities.
5. Fellowship & Mentorship
Through gatherings, discussions, youth nights, and retreats, we create a safe and uplifting place for young people to grow spiritually and personally.
Ministry Goals
• Develop an intentional relationship with God and live out Christ’s purpose.
• Create spiritual habits that transform the lives of others for Christ.
• Help youth discover themselves in God and use their spiritual gifts.
• Give responsibilities that develop their skills and talents.
• Encourage youth to lead ministry activities and believe in their God-given potential.
• Involve them in other ministries as we prepare them for leadership roles.
• Equip them to teach and disciple others as tomorrow’s ministry leaders.

The Youth & Young Adults Ministry at House of Wisdom – CHRIDA exists to help young people
know Jesus deeply, follow Him boldly, and represent Him confidently in every area of life.
We are committed to raising a generation of young believers who walk in truth, live with purpose,
and shine the light of Christ in their homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.
In a changing world, we provide a safe, Christ-centered environment where youth and young adults
can grow spiritually, discover their identity in God, ask real questions, build healthy friendships,
and be trained as tomorrow’s leaders in the church and in society.
Our Purpose
We believe that youth and young adults are a vital part of God’s plan and the life of the church.
The Word of God challenges us not to overlook or underestimate their value, but to invest in them intentionally.
Our purpose is to:
- Connect young people to Jesus Christ through spiritual formation, discipleship, and mentorship.
- Encourage them to keep their faith strong and depend fully on God for guidance and direction.
- Help them live truthfully and courageously as believers in every setting they find themselves in.
- Equip them to reach other young people through evangelism, service, and godly influence.
What We Offer
1. Spiritual Formation & Discipleship
Through Bible studies, small groups, prayer meetings, and one-on-one mentorship,
we guide youth and young adults to develop a personal, growing relationship with God.
2. Evangelism & Community Impact
We encourage young people to be bold witnesses for Christ in their schools, campuses, neighborhoods,
and online communities—sharing the Gospel through both words and actions.
3. Purpose Discovery & Gifts Development
Every young person has God-given gifts. We help them discover who they are in Christ and identify their
spiritual gifts, talents, and abilities so they can use them to serve God and others.
4. Leadership Training & Responsibility
Youth and young adults are given meaningful responsibilities in ministry—leading services, planning events,
helping with worship, serving in media, ushering, teaching, and more. This builds confidence and prepares
them for future leadership roles.
5. Fellowship, Events & Retreats
We create safe and joyful spaces for connection through youth nights, hangouts, worship nights,
retreats, conferences, and service activities—all designed to build strong, Christ-centered friendships.
Ministry Goals
Our goals are to spiritually nurture our youth and young adults and ensure they impact their world for Christ and His Kingdom.
Specifically, we aim to:
- Help them build an intentional, personal relationship with God and align their lives with Christ’s purpose.
- Develop strong spiritual habits that influence and transform others for Christ in their communities.
- Guide them to discover their identity in God and use their spiritual gifts for the Kingdom.
- Give them responsibilities that grow their gifts, skills, and leadership abilities.
- Encourage them to lead services, activities, and events, reminding them that their talents come from God and should be used for Him.
- Involve them in other church ministries as we prepare them to take leadership roles in the church and in society.
