Youth & Young Adults Ministry

The Youth and Young Adults Ministry at House of Wisdom – CHRIDA exists to empower, guide, and spiritually nurture young people as they grow in their faith and enter adulthood. Our purpose is to help every young believer build a strong relationship with Jesus Christ, stay grounded in biblical truth, and learn to discern God’s will in all they do.
In a world filled with distractions, we provide a spiritual home where young adults can grow confidently, ask questions, discover their identity in Christ, and walk in purpose. We believe that youth are central to God’s ministry, and we intentionally invest in them as commanded in 1 Timothy 4:12.
Our Purpose
• Connect young people to Jesus Christ through discipleship, mentorship, and spiritual formation.
• Encourage youth to live boldly for God—in school, at home, at work, and in their communities.
• Support them in creating lifelong spiritual habits that strengthen their faith and character.
• Help them understand their God-given identity, purpose, and calling.
• Develop tomorrow’s ministry leaders through teaching, service, and leadership opportunities.
What We Do
1. Spiritual Formation & Discipleship
We walk with youth as they grow in their relationship with God through prayer, Bible study, mentorship, and worship experiences.
2. Evangelistic Outreach
Our ministry encourages youth to reach other young people through evangelism, service, and sharing the Gospel in their schools, friend circles, and communities.
3. Purpose Discovery & Gift Development
Every young person is gifted by God. We help them discover their identity in Christ and use their spiritual gifts to serve the Kingdom.
4. Leadership Development
We prepare youth to become future leaders within the church and society by involving them in services, events, and ministry responsibilities.
5. Fellowship & Mentorship
Through gatherings, discussions, youth nights, and retreats, we create a safe and uplifting place for young people to grow spiritually and personally.
Ministry Goals
• Develop an intentional relationship with God and live out Christ’s purpose.
• Create spiritual habits that transform the lives of others for Christ.
• Help youth discover themselves in God and use their spiritual gifts.
• Give responsibilities that develop their skills and talents.
• Encourage youth to lead ministry activities and believe in their God-given potential.
• Involve them in other ministries as we prepare them for leadership roles.
• Equip them to teach and disciple others as tomorrow’s ministry leaders.
