The Praise Ministry at House of Wisdom – CHRIDA (HOW) leads the congregation into authentic
worship that glorifies God and prepares hearts to receive His Word. Through music, singing, and joyful praise,
the team helps create an atmosphere where the presence of God is honored and welcomed.
Our praise team is committed to spiritual growth, musical excellence, and unity.
They recognize that worship is not a performance, but a ministry unto the Lord—serving the congregation
while glorifying God with their gifts.
Our Commitment
The Praise Ministry at HOW is built on commitment—to God, to biblical worship, and to the local church.
Members of the praise team:
- Attend weekly practice sessions and Sunday morning warm-ups when scheduled to minister.
- Pray together as a team and individually for the effectiveness of worship services.
- Encourage one another and the congregation in spiritual growth and love in the Kingdom of God.
- Understand that their ministry is to lead the church into heartfelt worship, not to perform.
We follow the biblical call to make a joyful noise unto the Lord (Psalm 100:1) and to praise Him with
instruments, singing, and joyful expression (Psalm 150:1–5).
What the Praise Ministry Does
🎵 Leading Worship
The praise team plans and ministers the music for each service, leading the congregation into heartfelt,
Christ-centered worship through songs of praise, adoration, and surrender.
🎹 Modeling Worship
Our praise team members model true worship through their attitudes and actions—on the platform and off.
Their desire is to point people to Jesus, not to themselves.
🎼 Musical Excellence
They strive to sing and play instruments with their greatest potential, offering excellence in worship
as unto God—practicing regularly and preparing spiritually for each service.
⏰ Faithful Participation
Members attend scheduled rehearsals, services, and ministry events punctually,
honoring both their commitment to God and to the worship team.
👗 Modesty & Example
The team dresses in a modest and respectful manner that reflects their role in ministry and honors God.
They seek to live by high moral and ethical standards that align with Kingdom values.
🙏 Character & Unity
Our members conduct themselves with professionalism, reverence, joy, and unity—on stage, backstage,
and in daily life—confirming their personal lifestyles to Kingdom principles.

We look for team members who understand that worship is a calling and a lifestyle, not just a song.
